First week Spring Semester

More people in a row. This massage picture taken during a 10 minute break in our herbs tutorial. Thanks Nic Hi Blogs, This semester is another busy one. Our Clinic studies will include electro acupuncture, so will keep you updated on that.

We cover herbal formulas which is a very daunting analysis of specific combinations of herbs for specific reasons. Interesting though as there seems to be justification for all the combinations using TCM theory and we have a great lecturer for that subject too. Hours in the clinic with the general public and our final Western Science segment which covers a lot of nutrition information. Finally we are continuing with our Chinese Diagnosis concepts. That's the update.

This is a favourite photo of a line of smiles from second semester, after Health Science exam. Its to help motivate and inspire me for the new semester starting on Monday. It is definitely all possible, as its been done before.

Australian Yin and Yang

I picked up a job on the bottom floor of a big city firm to pay off my own personal yang credit card situation at the moment. I've never worked with a better bunch of characters. One in particular amazed me with his afternoon snack today:

" I feel like weetbix"

Weetbix being a breakfast cereal made of blocks of wheat. Unusual for the afternoon but not too bad you may think. However no milk was involved and two of them were coated with peanut butter (yang-light) and the other two with promite (like vegimite but somehow worse, yin-dark) and he was sober. When I tried this thickly coated and crusty combination it actually worked well! An Australian classic.

Remember that peace van I put up? I was back in Bondi and it's still in the same place as before! Hope you enjoy. Been a bit slack with posts recently as Uni is out and the last thing I wanted to do was think about studies! But I have been doing some reading. Catching up on Kaptchuk. Hehehaha
